		<description>I have been bouldering for several years, and found that as a newbie, the real basic necessities are shoes and chalk.  Usually a new boulderer will be going out with others that will have pads and brushes... I would recommend waiting to get a pad once you are committed to the sport, since it is the biggest investment a boulderer makes.  Organic (http://www.organicclimbing.com/) makes awesome customizable pads in different sizes.  I also am partial to Evolv shoes :)</description>
