I saw a lot of those "bad" movies before I came to Colombia (and lived in Medellin for 6 months), and really hope some better Hollywood movies start getting shot down here. The people are working hard to show their country deserves a better reputation in the 21st century. Great post. You are doing a great job talking about what our country is not. I am always amazed when I see so much ignorance from hollywood about our country. We are not only drugs but if they only want to show that side they should do it the right way. I bet they would be much more succesful and get more money if they shoot down there instead of Mexico.
