All these cams are really easy to import footage and the ContourHD is just as easy. Great camera as long as its not getting very wet.

Thanks for this post! I looked into these types of cameras a few months ago but was disappointed by the lack of HD options for a reasonable price. I’m planning a motorcycle trip through Peru and would love to capture some of the journey. Looks like the Contour HD will do the job!

I have the GoPro, I like it but the sound if completely unusable on mine and it seems to eat batteries like a big bad battery eating monster…

it does shoot nice pix and footage though
