People Positive products like handmade crafts and jewelry aim to improve quality of life through empowerment and preservation of communities and individuals alike. Eco Positive products such as organic clothing and environmentally safe lotions and soaps aim to conserve resources.

Animal Friendly products are usually free of dyes and chemicals that could be harmful to your pets, while proceeds from the sale of products that “Support a Cause” go to their beneficiaries.

Articles covering a host of sustainable living and ethical shopping topics are readily accessible via its vibrant online community which includes a mix of media partners, sellers, buyers, and trust providers.

Be sure to stop by and peek in through the window of a more conscious lifestyle.

Thanks for the article, it sounds like a good program, that could be a good place to get products. Though it can also be abused by companies that are already selling refurbished and such just to make money playing on people’s sympathies. Also, like a carbon footprint can just be used to feel good about yourself. but, i guess even if that is the case it still gets people to buy things that are better for the earth.

Luke – You’re absolutely right. There can be potential for abuse and World Of Good does have trust providers like the Fair Trade Organization that review all products and evaluate all sellers so hopefully it curbs the abuse to some degree.

I love the purses made from recycled juice cartons available at Doy Bags. (http://doybags.com) Beautiful, fun, great gifts, great conversation starters, and a good contribution to fair trade and recycling.
